Ambulatory & Assisted Walking

Ambulatory Transportation in Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley

Some riders don’t need a wheelchair or a stretcher, just a careful driver and a steady arm. MedGo’s ambulatory service is door-to-door help for people who can walk but shouldn’t manage the trip alone.

Who Ambulatory Service Is For

  • Older riders who want a steady hand and an easy pace

  • Cane and walker users

  • Anyone unsteady after dialysis, chemotherapy, or a procedure

  • Riders whose family can’t drive them that day and don’t want them going alone

What Assisted Walking Means at MedGo

  1. We come to your door

Your driver knocks, helps you down the steps, and gives you an arm to lean on.

  2. Help in and out of the van

Take your time. We don’t rush riders.

  3. Walked inside at your destination

We bring you into the building and let the front desk know you’ve arrived.

  4. A return trip that’s actually there

Book your round trip in advance and your driver comes back when your appointment ends. No waiting in the lobby, wondering.

Background-checked, CPR and First Aid certified, and trained in passenger assistance and wheelchair securement.

  • Clear communication

One number for everything: booking, questions, and day-of updates. Calls and texts both work.

  • A straightforward quote

Your price is clear before you book. Credit card, Zelle, and Venmo accepted.

Common Questions

How far ahead should I book?

At least 24 hours before the ride, please. If the appointment is already on your calendar, book now. The earlier, the easier.

Can the driver bring me home afterward?

Yes. Set up the round trip when you book. We walk you in, tell the front desk we’re your ride, and come back for you when you’re done.

Can my daughter, son, or caregiver come along?

Of course. One family member or caregiver is welcome to ride with you — just tell us when you book.

I use a walker. Is that a problem?

Not at all. Your driver stows your walker, cane, or rollator securely and hands it back the moment you step out of the van.

What does a ride cost?

Every trip is quoted individually, and you’ll have the price before you book. Call or text 424-407-1571 for a fast quote. MedGo is private pay: credit card, Zelle, and Venmo.
